In the context of the Erasmus+ KA1 project "Educating Informal Caregivers" I had the valuable opportunity to visit organizations in Italy and Belgium that represent informal carers and advocate for their interests. These visits allowed me to expand my professional network, make new contacts, meet colleagues from abroad who are new partners and learn from the practices of other European countries. During the visits,S I got to experience firsthand what it is like to support people in need with the relevant infrastructure in place. There were itineraries followed in Italy and in-house work done in Belgium according to the schedule of the respective partners. I believe that this program has strengthened the cooperation among the participating partners by permitting cultural exchange and meaningful social intercourse.
